About Us

The issue of Vehicle Registration and Licensing or according title to vehicle owner is covered by statute in Lagos State and it is the statutory responsibility of Motor Vehicle Administration Agency. The Agency was established via Law Cap 20.of 2007. Other functions of the Agency includes but not limited to issuance/renewal of Drivers License (Local), Learner's Permit, Licensing of Auto/ Spare Parts Dealers, Riders Identification Card and most importantly, keeping of a robust Database on Vehicles/Owners.

To achieve these lofty ideals and in line with the policy thrust of the current administration, the enabling law of the Agency makes provision for collaboration with Private Sector organizations.
